hullo, friends & strangers! i've been meaning to do this for a long - LONG, LONG - time, but finally realised i had nothing else to do online BUT this journal. facebook, boring... friends, not on line... twitter, filled with DWTS spoilers... SO! here i am!
a little background... i've been writing for virtually my entire life - the first story i remember completing was written in a half-blank/half-lined journal (which i hated, because i am SO not an artist). it was a story about a huge family whose family vehicle was a school bus. i believe all their names were alphabetical as well. shout-out to 10 kids, no pets!
i've always been a bit of a fan fiction writer. anyone out there remember the rumours about christina aguilera and britney spears both dating prince william? hai, crack fic! i was obsessed with creating girl bands and putting them on tour with BSB and 'nsync... obviously, the main girl - the prettiest, most talented and clearly a mary-sue - would fall in love with nick, aj or justin, depending on who i was loving most at that moment. i'd like to say now, in my almost-late twenties, i've outgrown the fanfic world. alas, this is not the case. i HAVE outgrown writing about BSB/'nsync... very recently, i might add. VERY recently. okay, maybe i haven't completely outgrown it. i am a terminal teenage girl!
now, my work tends to revolve around trying to relive my youth by taking the pure and innocent 13 year old girls from the babysitter's club and making them promiscuous, drug addicts or emo cheerleaders (shout-out to darcy redmond! sigh. miss her!)i was happily writing an extraordinarily cheesy fic based on the trials and tribulations of charlotte johanssen's love life when the lovely courtney (or lucida) emailed me and wanted to join her RPG. three years later, my role-playing days are indefinitely on hold - the muses have been hardcore disturbed! - but i'm still writing... or, trying to write! i find i get a really good chapter or two out, and then... poof! this dilemma is partially the reason for this blog, as i really feed well off compliments (this is why i have an online dating account with no intention of meeting anyone... i just like the "you're hot!" emails!) and i'm hoping if i post a few of my WIP's, maybe you people out there in intrawebzland can help me decide where to put my focus and bitch slap me when i take a million years to post another chapter!! i'm really annoyed with the lack of inspiration i've had lately, so i'm really hoping this helps me! and i hope you friends & strangers like what i post!!

this one! i love this one... it's so taboo! i have it posted on ff.net, and while some people there didn't like it because of the clandestine relationship involved, i really like it. but, getting some negative feedback sort of puts a damper on the whole story, so i lost my muse :(

i actually really like this one, i just have virtually NO idea where it was going. sometimes, i just sit and write, with no map at all. i like to do that, but at the same time, it makes picking back up really difficult!!
